ADS: Acupuncture treatment for drug and alcohol problems was primarily developed at Lincoln Hospital,in the South Bronx. Yoshiaki Omura was the consultant who began the program for the Substance Abuse Division at Lincoln, provided more than 500,000 acupuncture treatments in the past 30 years. Initially, in 1974, Lincoln used H.L. Wen, MD's method.

A wide variety of controlled clinical trials, outcome summaries and anecdotal reports about the use of acupuncture in addition treatment have appearing since the 1970's in journals. The ADS Acupuncture Detox Specialist do not make any claims to diagnose, treat, or prescribe, only your doctor may treat. ADSes have been around for years, we work with case studies of the National Acupuncture Detox Association' NADA resource information case reports of the Lincoln Hospital Recovery in 'New York and the VA-Veterans Administration Hospital in 'Maryland-DC area, the NADA International and so fourth, NADA USA & NADA International holds it's high standards and updates. These reports differed vastly in terms of methodolgy, populations studied, statistical sophistication and clinical relevance as well as in their findings about the value of acupuncture. We work with license practitioners and within the scope of the ADS-NADA Protocol by assisting the body Auricular area's meridian points in balancing the Chi, in time this ancient modality brings balance to one in various of many ways. The National Acupuncture Detox Association' NADA has trained more than 10,000 health professionals, including counselors, social workers, nurses, medical doctors, psychologists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, outreach workers, drug court judges, corrections officers and others to use this protocol. Removing barriers to recovery has been NADA's task since NADA was found in 1985. Globally, over 25,000 health workers have completed NADA Training, and an estimated 2000 clinics offer acu detox as adjunct therapy around the world.
